CONGRATULATIONS! You woke up today. You’ve been given another opportunity to make a difference. It’s easy to take this for granted, to let the weight of the world’s problems drag you down, but let’s shift that perspective for a moment. What if every challenge you face, every obstacle in your path, is a chance for growth? A chance to become stronger, wiser, and more connected to your purpose?

When you do business—or live life—with Christ in your heart, you’re not just striving for success. You’re striving for meaning. You're striving to serve, to lead, and to lift others along the way. This isn’t about chasing titles or accolades; it's about living with purpose, integrity, and an unshakeable faith that guides every decision you make.

Leadership with a Servant’s Heart

The world often teaches us that leadership is about power—about being in control. But real leadership, the kind that creates lasting change, is rooted in service. Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, not because He had to, but because He wanted to show them that true greatness comes from serving others.

In my book, Unstoppable: Mastering Resilience and Growth, I talk about this idea: “True leadership is not about having all the answers; it’s about empowering others and creating an environment where growth is not only possible but inevitable.” This isn’t just a business philosophy—it’s a way of life. It’s about leading with humility, lifting others up, and finding fulfillment in the success of those around you.

Resilience: Every Setback is a Setup for a Comeback

Here’s the truth: Life will knock you down. It’s not a matter of if but when. Whether it’s in business, relationships, or personal goals, you’re going to face obstacles that make you question everything. But here’s the good news—those obstacles are not the end of your story.

“Setbacks are merely setups for comebacks. And how you handle those setbacks determines your trajectory.” This is one of the core lessons from my own journey, and it’s a truth I want to pass on to you. When you face adversity with Christ in your heart, you’re not just enduring the storm—you’re growing through it. Each challenge is shaping you, refining you, and preparing you for something greater.

Remember, resilience isn’t about never falling; it’s about how you rise every time you do. James 1:2-4 reminds us that trials produce perseverance, and perseverance brings us to maturity. So, instead of dreading the challenges, embrace them. They’re the very things that will lead to your growth.

Gratitude: A Shift in Perspective

Take a moment to look around. What do you have right now that you once prayed for? It’s so easy to lose sight of our blessings when life gets tough, but gratitude is the key to staying grounded, no matter what’s happening around you.

I often reflect on this simple truth: Millions of people would trade places with you in an instant. Even on your hardest days, you’ve been given another chance—another sunrise, another breath. Gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring life’s difficulties; it means acknowledging them while still being thankful for the gift of today.

This perspective of gratitude will not only transform your outlook on life but also how you do business. As I mention in my book: “Integrity is the compass that guides every successful venture. When your principles align with your actions, success follows naturally.” This is the heart of honest, Christ-centered business: always acting with integrity and remembering that the way we treat others—our brothers and sisters—is as important as any bottom line.

Leadership Through Faith

In everything you do, remember that leadership is about more than just achieving results—it’s about leaving a legacy. When you lead with Christ in your heart, you’re not just building a business; you’re building a life that will have a lasting impact on others.

Business isn’t just about profits and market share. It’s about people. It’s about how we use the opportunities we’re given to make a difference. “True leadership isn’t about personal ambition or financial gain. It’s about having a deeper connection to what drives you and inspiring others to find their own purpose.” Whether you’re leading a team or just trying to navigate life’s challenges, keep this truth at the forefront: leadership is about service, humility, and lifting others.

It’s Going to Be Okay

Here’s what I want you to know: No matter how difficult things may seem, it’s going to be okay. The world isn’t ending—far from it. You’ve been given this day, and it’s full of possibility. With Christ in your heart, you’re equipped to face whatever comes your way. You’re stronger than you think, and your faith will carry you through.

Don’t ever take for granted the blessing of today. Use it. Help someone. Show kindness. Be grateful for what you have, and remember that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. And when you do that—when you lead, live, and work with Christ in your heart—you’ll not only succeed, but you’ll inspire others to do the same.

In the end, doing business with Christ in your heart is about more than just faith in the abstract—it’s about showing up every day with the conviction that you can make a difference. You’re stronger than you think, and your faith will carry you through. No matter the challenges you face, you have the resilience, the leadership, and the grace within you to rise above them.
